This is a door I made for my cat to get in and out of my shop. I had a hole for them to go thru but It lets in a lot of cold air in the winter and I got tired of having to close the opening every night. So I made this. It’s been working great. This is Jack a stray cat I took in. He is a great cat.
Is this true? In a drawing, holes dimension only can be specified after bending of sheet metals.?
Meaning not on the flat pattern. I need a reference stating this rule.
As Wingman answered, it does make sense.
But if its been hand made. Wouldn’t it will be easier just to drill the hole at the flat pattern first, then proceed with the bending, and the hole if quite far from the bending portion.
